Montgomery County Clerk opens Saturday to give busy parents time to get birth certificates before new school year
Montgomery County Clerk L. Brandon Steinmann (R-Montgomery) announced his Conroe office would be open Saturday, July 12, from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. to provide birth certificate services ahead of the upcoming school year.
“We understand that the back-to-school period can be a hectic time for families,” said Mr. Steinmann, a father of two. “By opening this Saturday, we aim to provide a special opportunity for parents to secure these necessary documents outside of the workweek and ahead of the back-to-school rush.”
The location of the July 12 event will be the County Clerk’s main office at 210 W. Davis St. in Conroe.

For residents unable to attend Saturday, the County Clerk’s Office is now offering online ordering for birth certificates. Birth certificate applications can be filled out from the comfort of home and the certificates picked up locally or shipped direct.
