Montgomery County Community Foundation announces New President and CEO

The Board of Montgomery County Community Foundation is excited to announce that Ashley Logan has been named its next President & Chief Executive Officer, replacing retiring President & CEO, Julie Martineau, beginning March, 2026.

Logan brings more than 15 years of nonprofit experience dedicated to advancing critical missions that strengthen communities. Throughout her career, she has supported organizations across the environmental, educational, and human services sectors, with more than five years of experience in senior nonprofit leadership. She also holds the credential of Certified Fundraising Executive (CFRE), a globally recognized credential that signifies a fundraiser’s professional growth and commitment to the philanthropic sector.

Most recently, Logan dedicated her talents to Montgomery County Food Bank, where she played a key role in fighting hunger and feeding hope across Montgomery County. During her tenure she served as Director of Development followed by Head of Grants and Foundation Giving. Known as an innovative and forward-thinking strategist, Logan excels at driving growth, building partnerships, and helping organizations move confidently toward their vision of stronger, more resilient communities.

Logan’s passion for philanthropy and public stewardship began during her service as a United States Peace Corps Volunteer in the Republic of Panama, where she developed and funded multiple humanitarian projects. This experience cemented her lifelong commitment to cause awareness, community engagement, and impactful leadership.

A California native, Logan earned her bachelor’s degree from the University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA). Now a proud, adopted Texan, she admires the genuine hospitality of the Lone Star State. Logan and her husband, Matthew, enjoy spending time with their three children and staying active together. At the heart of her work and life is a deep belief in the power of community and the role philanthropy plays in helping communities thrive.

Logan will continue building on the momentum and legacy of the Community Foundation’s retiring President & CEO, Julie Martineau. Over the course of Martineau’s 8 ½ year tenure with the Community Foundation, the endowment corpus has grown by 157% to over $17.5 million while grants and scholarships have increased by 151%. To date, the Community Foundation has awarded $4 million in grants and scholarships.
