Montgomery County Food Bank’s Outrun Hunger unites community to fight hunger
The Montgomery County Food Bank’s annual Outrun Hunger event, presented by H-E-B, was held on Saturday, June 14 at The Lake House at Grand Central Park in Conroe. The community-wide event featured a 5K trail race for the competitors and a 1K Color Dash for the fun-seekers – all benefiting Montgomery County Food Bank’s mission of uniting the community to fight hunger.

All event long at the Party Pavilion, attendees enjoyed music, food trucks, photo ops, a kids zone, and more. Participants also had the opportunity to set up a fundraiser to make their impact go even further.
Outrun Hunger’s proceeds will benefit Montgomery County Food Bank’s programs for children, seniors, and families facing hunger in Montgomery County. Every $1 raised provides up to 4 meals.
Every step counts in the race against hunger! Over the summer, food assistance needs rise as many children lose access to school meals, making events such as Outrun Hunger crucial in helping our community stay on track with nutritious food on the table.
