Montgomery County Sheriff Office: No active shooter at Lone Star College

We want to clarify that there is NOT an active shooter at Lone Star College off of College Park Drive. A female driver heard a loud bang while driving on College Park Dr. and initially thought she had been shot at. Upon investigation, it was determined that a deer had collided with her vehicle.
Out of an abundance of caution, the Lone Star College campus was briefly placed on lockdown. We can confirm that there is no threat to students or the public.
