National Youth Theater Presents Oliver
National Youth Theater (NYT) is proud to announce its final fall production: Lionel Bart’s Oliver! This celebrated musical, based on Charles Dickens’ classic Oliver Twist, promises to captivate audiences with the heart, grit, and warmth of Victorian London.
Oliver! is a timeless and thrilling musical, bursting with unforgettable songs, vivid characters, and heart-stirring drama. It follows young Oliver’s journey from hardship to hope as he navigates the streets of London, encounters a band of pickpockets, and seeks a true family.
Featuring rousing ensemble numbers, comic and poignant moments, and a rich period atmosphere, this production delights audiences of all ages. With stirring songs, memorable characters, and lively choreography, Oliver! is perfect for families, musical lovers, and fans of classic theatre alike. This talented cast, comprised of ages 8-19, will present the show on December 5-7 at the Lone Star College Tomball Performing Arts Center. The center is located at 30555 Tomball Parkway in Tomball. The directorial team includes director Kristel Williams, assistant director Britanie Long, vocal director Angela Ward, and choreographer Davison Huber.
