BEST is a six-week competition held each fall, designed to help interest middle and high school students in possible engineering careers. These cover different aspects of the engineering industry, such as marketing, engineering design, public relations, business management, programming, and more.

Oak Ridge Robotics was the runner-up at the North Houston Invitational, then made its strong showing with its second runner-up finish at the statewide competition. The group has over 40 active members and hopes to continue to grow the program by teaching students the valuable skills of problem solving, teamwork, creativity, and critical thinking.
