Pet of the Month with Operation Pets Alive: Meet Sadie
Hello Woodlands, in partnership with Operation Pets Alive (OPA), highlights a “Pet of the Month” that features a local dog or cat available for foster and/or adoption in Montgomery County, Texas. Operation Pets Alive is a nonprofit, all-volunteer organization striving to elevate Montgomery County to a No-Kill community through innovative programs that raise community awareness, reduce the number of dogs and cats that enter our shelters, and increase the number of dogs and cats that leave our shelters alive.
For our Pet of the Month, we are excited to introduce you to Sadie!
Introducing Sadie: Your Future Pool Inspector, Walking Coach, and Road Trip DJ
Sadie is a 4-year-old Black Lab mix with confidence, charm, and just the right amount of sass. Currently living her best life at a boarding facility (think of it as her temporary spa retreat), she’s on the lookout for a foster or forever home that appreciates her many talents.
Got a backyard pool collecting leaves and regret? Sadie will happily dive in and make sure it’s getting the attention it deserves. Need motivation to explore our scenic trails? Sadie’s leash manners are top-tier, and she’ll personally escort you off the couch and into nature. Love a good road trip? Sadie’s got her head-out-the-window game down to an art form—tongue flapping, ears flying, pure joy.
She’s a one-dog show and prefers to be the only canine queen in the castle. That just means more love and attention for you!
