Repsol makes donation to support Montgomery County First Responders’ Mental Wellbeing
The Montgomery County First Responders Foundation is proud to announce a significant donation from Repsol, an international multi-energy company with offices in The Woodlands and Houston, aimed at enhancing the mental and emotional wellbeing of first responders in Montgomery County, Texas. This generous contribution underscores Repsol’s commitment to community support and the recognition of the vital role that first responders play in ensuring public safety.
The donation will directly fund programs designed to provide mental health resources, counseling services, and wellness initiatives tailored specifically for the needs of our firefighters, law enforcement officers, emergency medical technicians and emergency communications personnel. First responders often face dangerous and traumatic high-stress situations, and it is essential that they have access to the support necessary to maintain their mental resilience.

In light of the ongoing pressures faced by first responders, this partnership represents a proactive approach to mental health care. The funding will be utilized for counseling resources, mental health training, and the promotion of and establishment of first responder agency peer support networks, ensuring that first responders have the tools they need to cope with the challenges of their profession.
