Sheriff’s Office removes stolen truck found by local fisherman in Hughes Landing

The Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office shared an update on February 15, 2024 that, “The Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office is presently at Hughes Landing Lagoon to remove a truck that was found by a local fisherman using his fish finder sonar. The truck appears to have been there for several years. At the moment, The Woodlands Fire Department and the Harris County Sheriff’s Office Dive Team are providing assistance. MCTXSheriff will continue to provide updates as this situation progresses.”

UPDATE 12:53 p.m.: “The vehicle recovered is confirmed to be stolen out of Harris County in 2010.”
