Southside Bank deepens Community Commitment following Grand Opening in The Woodlands
Southside Bank (the “Bank” or “Southside”) recently celebrated the grand opening of its new full-service branch located at 1410 Research Forest Dr., in The Woodlands. The event drew customers, chamber members, employees, and community leaders who enjoyed coffee, donuts, and breakfast tacos.
As Southside expands its footprint in the Houston market, the Bank is investing in local relationships through events that bring people together. In addition to sponsoring the South County Fourth of July Parade, Southside is launching its inaugural Little Patriots Shoebox Float Competition. Families are invited to build a patriotic shoebox‑sized float to celebrate America’s 250th birthday. Participants can register online, pick up supplies on June 6, and return completed floats by June 22. One float will win a cash prize and be selected as the grand prize winner on July 4.
