For over 15 years, the museum has offered a friendly non-scary environment for little ones and their families to celebrate Halloween. This year’s SpookTacular event invites all guests to dress in costume and join in carnival-style games and special activities where children are awarded non-candy prizes.

“The museum has been transformed into a whimsical environment of Halloween-themed décor and decorations. Guests are invited to explore a variety of activities, games, interactive art projects, special Boogie Bashes, and captivating magic shows. This festive event offers a magical opportunity for families to share in the joy of Halloween without the traditional spooky frights,” stated Executive Director Angela Colton.

This skel-e-ton of fun event presents festive games like ring-a-pumpkin, ghost bowling, and the ever popular marshmallow madness. As always, the Muse Art Bar, with the help of our dedicated community volunteers, will offer young guests the chance to unleash their creativity by creating Lacing Pumpkins, Playful Play-Doh, and Paper Plate Ghost.

Children can also get moving during two Monster Mash Boogie Bash performances at 10:00am and 11:00am, then be mesmerized by the award-winning magical talents of Monty the Magician, who will perform his enchanting, lighthearted magic shows at 10:30am, 11:30am, and 12:30pm.

The museum will be open from 9:00am – 2:00pm for the event only. Member and Non-Member admission is Adults: $9, Children 1-13 years: $12, Children under 1: $6. Advance tickets are recommended and are available online at https://woodlandschildrensmuseum.org/event-tickets/.  Capacity will be limited and guests without advance tickets will be accommodated if space allows.
