The John Cooper School hosts College Signing Day for Student-Athletes
The John Cooper School hosted its College Signing Day event, where four outstanding student-athletes officially committed to playing sports at the collegiate level. The ceremony took place on November 13 at 7:30 a.m. in the Dunlap Gym and highlighted the achievements and dedication of these exceptional students as they take the next step in their athletic and academic careers.
The four students who signed National Letters of Intent to continue their athletic careers at the collegiate level include:
- Darcy Wright – Golf – Bucknell University
- Julianne Hon – Volleyball – University of Minnesota Duluth
- Monica Ianeva – Swimming – University of Toronto
- Tanner Mandalinci – Soccer – University of Wisconsin – Whitewater
Each of these athletes has demonstrated extraordinary talent, work ethic, and perseverance throughout their high school careers. Their commitment to their sports and education reflects the values of The John Cooper School and serves as an inspiration to fellow students. We wish these athletes continued success on their journey from curiosity to wisdom.
“We are incredibly proud of these four students and the balance they have executed between their academic and athletic endeavors,” said John Hoye, Director of Athletics. “College Signing Day is a significant milestone in their academic and athletic journeys, and we look forward to celebrating this momentous occasion with our community.”
