The Music of Led Zeppelin performed by Houston Symphony and Windborne Music at The Pavilion

On July 23, the Houston Symphony and the hard-hitting musicians of Windborne Music performed The Music of Led Zeppelin at The Cynthia Woods Mitchell Pavilion.

The free event, sponsored by Huntsman, reimagined one of rock’s most iconic musical catalogs with the full force of a symphony orchestra behind it. With explosive energy and jaw-dropping musical power, the concert took the legendary sound of Led Zeppelin to a whole new level.

The Music of Led Zeppelin is part of Windborne Music’s renowned series of symphonic rock collaborations known for bridging genres and delivering unforgettable live experiences. Vocalist Randy Jackson, lead singer of the rock band Zebra, joined the orchestra and band and delivered a note-for-note tribute to Zeppelin’s greatest hits. Conductor and arranger Brent Havens led the ensemble, blending classical and rock traditions into a sound that is both familiar and completely reimagined.

Lifelong Zeppelin fans and live music fans alike enjoyed the high-octane tribute to one of the greatest bands of all time and another fantastic show under the stars at The Pavilion.
