Star-Spangled Salute continues its legacy as more than just a concert. It’s a movement both symphonic and patriotic. For decades this free family-friendly event has served as a first introduction to the arts for countless children. Many of them now return as parents to share the same magic with a new generation.

The Pavilion partnered with Artists in Arms, a local veteran-led arts nonprofit, for this special event. As part of their Operation: GameChanger initiative, the group hosted a booth collecting new art supplies to support underfunded school art programs in our community. This effort not only helps ensure students have the tools to explore their creativity, but also empowers local veterans through meaningful service and community connection.

Attendees enjoyed a rousing musical performance featuring a full orchestra performance, preceded by a dynamic women’s chorus, stirring tributes to our nation’s heroes and special appearances by favorite patriotic characters. The evening also included fun free giveaways for all ages. The Star-Spangled Salute continues to be a tradition that welcomes all with open arms – whether it’s your first time or your fifteenth.
