The Woodlands Area Chamber of Commerce Begins a New Year, Welcomes New Board of Directors
The Woodlands Area Chamber of Commerce marked the beginning of a new Chamber year on September 1, 2025, by introducing the 2025-2026 Chairman, Vice Chairman and new members of the Chamber’s Board of Directors.
Justin Kendrick, Senior Vice President & CEO of Memorial Hermann The Woodlands Medical Center and Memorial Hermann Northeast Hospital, takes the gavel as the 2025-2026 Chairman of the Board.

“It is an honor and a privilege to serve as the 2025–2026 Chair of the Board of Directors for The Woodlands Area Chamber of Commerce,” Kendrick said. “Throughout my professional role as the CEO for Memorial Hermann The Woodlands Medical Center, along with my service to a multitude of area non-profit organizations, I know firsthand the vital role the Chamber serves in facilitating, supporting, and continuing to grow the area’s economy and all of our members.”
Stuart Barrett is Vice President of Customer Service for Entergy Texas, Inc. serves as the 2025-2026 Vice Chairman prior to becoming Chairman in 2026-2027.

The new Board of Director members who will serve a three-year term from September 1, 2025 to August 31, 2028 are:
- Michael Huffine, Silver Rock Productions
- Janine Jones, Woodlands Hospital Group
- Michelle Little, Waste Connections
- De’Reese Reid-Hart, Lone Star College – Montgomery
- Casey Steele, Consolidated Communications
- Derek Theis, J.P. Morgan Chase
- Theresa Wagaman, Richmond Reality Group
Jim Carman, President of the Houston Region at Howard Hughes, will serve a one-year term as the Chairman’s Appointee.
“As we begin a new fiscal year, I am thrilled to welcome our new Chairman of the Board, Justin Kendrick of Memorial Hermann The Woodlands Medical Center, and the outstanding leaders who make up our Board of Directors,” said Aaron Cox, President & CEO of The Woodlands Area Chamber of Commerce. “Their vision, energy, and commitment will guide us as we deliver five-star experiences to our members by launching new initiatives, refreshing existing programs, and strengthening our role as the voice of business in The Woodlands area.”
The Chamber will officially celebrate the 2024-2025 Chamber year at its Annual Meeting and Awards Luncheon on Friday, September 26, 2025. The event is held each to recognize members who have shown exemplary support for the Chamber and the business community.
