The Woodlands Children’s Museum presents Princess Day with Meet-and-Greets and Royal Activities
Welcome in the start of Thanksgiving week with a day of enchantment as we present our annual Princess Day on Tuesday, November 25th, from 9:30am-2:00pm. Guests are invited to dress as royalty for meet-and-greets and DIY photo opportunities with the legendary Princess Cinderella, the book-loving Princess Belle, and the courageous Princess Tiana at 10:30am, 11:30am, 12:30pm and 1:30pm.
Noble attendees can train to be valiant knights by creating their very own swords, practicing lunges and parries, and feeling a surge of courage and strength as they master new skills. After children have bravely and loyally defended the kingdom, they can further their magical experience by creating special princess crowns.
This special day offers an environment where dress-up and imaginative play is encouraged, particularly within our exhibits. This powerful form of play allows children to create their own worlds, think creatively, and develop essential storytelling skills.

Executive Director Angela Colton notes, “We’re thrilled when guests arrive in their best prince and princess attire, donning glittering crowns and tiaras, and leave feeling excited about their royal experiences with fairytale princesses and knights. We hope that the adventurous story created here will be one that guests share with their family throughout the holiday season.”
At 11:00am, guests can get ready to dance and sing along with a splendid Turkey Trot Boogie Bash that will celebrate Thanksgiving with delightful songs, fingerplays, and creative movement including the “Turkey Tango” and “Turkey Pokey.”
This event is included in the price of admission. Guests are encouraged to pre-purchase tickets at www.woodlandschildrensmuseum.org. Tickets are $9 for guests over one year old and museum members are free.
The museum is open on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays from 9:30am – 2:00pm, Fridays 9:30am-4:00pm and Saturdays from 10:00am – 5:00pm. The museum is closed on Sundays and Mondays.
