The Woodlands Christian Academy Hosts Storybook Parade
THE WOODLANDS, TX – On Friday, October 25, The Woodlands Christian Academy’s lower school hosted a Storybook Parade. This annual event is in line with the school’s philosophy of fostering a love of reading from a young age.
Pre-K and Kindergarten students and staff dressed as characters from their favorite books and marched through the hallways lined with 1st-4th grade students. The parade culminated in the gymnasium, where families and friends gathered for a presentation and cookie celebration.
The teachers look forward to seeing the pride their students take in bringing these stories to life, especially in front of their loved ones and peers. “I love it,” shared Pre-K teacher Jasmine Mitchell. “It’s so neat to see the kids express their love for books in this way and the support we get from parents really helps make this tradition so special.”
The Woodlands Christian Academy is a PreK – 12th grade college preparatory school that integrates learning with biblical faith and challenges students to reach their highest potential – spiritually, academically, physically, and socially.
