The Woodlands Ice Rink opens daily beginning Saturday, November 18, 2023
THE WOODLANDS, TX – The Ice Rink at The Woodlands Town Center, located at 2005 Lake Robbins Drive, The Woodlands, Texas, 77380, is open daily beginning Saturday, November 18, 2023, for the holiday season.
“The Woodlands Ice Rink is not just about skating; it’s a winter wonderland waiting for you to explore,” said Township Chairman Dr. Ann K. Snyder. “With a state-of-the-art lighting and sound system, the ice rink is the perfect location for parties and holiday fun in The Woodlands.”
Skate sessions are two (2) hours and admission is $15 for ages six (6) and up. Ages five (5) and under are $7. Price includes skate rental. Helmet and walker rentals are available for $10 each.
The Ice Rink operates “movie theater style” with the following schedule for regular hours:
- Monday – Thursday: First session begins at 4 p.m. Last session begins at 6:30 p.m.
- Friday: First session begins at 4 p.m. Last session begins at 9 p.m.
- Saturday: First session begins at 9 a.m. Last session begins at 9:30 p.m.
- Sunday: First session begins at 12 p.m. Last session begins at 5 p.m.
- At the conclusion of each session, participants will be asked to exit the building for cleaning and sanitizing.
During school holiday hours, based on the Conroe ISD calendar, the first session will begin at 10 a.m. and last session will begin at 8 p.m. The Ice Rink at The Woodlands Town Center is also open on Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year’s Eve and New Year’s Day. The 2023-2024 ice skating season concludes Monday, January 15, 2024.
The 21,000-square-foot permanent multipurpose facility features ice skating in the main room with lighting, a state-of-the-art sound system, tables for parties, and concessions and is ideal for parties, corporate gatherings, and other events. Even if you don’t skate, you can enjoy a variety of food and beverages, available for purchase from the concessions counter, while others in your party are on the ice. Spectator tables are available in the rink on a first-come, first-served basis with the option to rent in advance. Please note – outside food, drink or coolers are not permitted in the facility.
