The Woodlands Methodist School awarded Grant for Mobile STEAM Lab
The Montgomery County Community Foundation (MCCF) awarded a grant to The Woodlands Methodist School to purchase a versatile mobile STEAM cart to expand hands on learning opportunities across multiple grade levels.
The grant will fund equipment designed to support engaging instruction in science, technology, engineering, arts, and mathematics (STEAM). The mobile nature of the cart will allow the school to bring interactive learning experiences directly into classrooms, making innovative instruction accessible to more students.

From engineering challenges to art-integrated science projects, the mobile STEAM cart will enhance curriculum and foster student engagement by emphasizing the 4C’s: creativity, collaboration, communication, and critical thinking.
The Woodlands Methodist School plans to implement the mobile STEAM cart during the upcoming academic year, with activities designed to complement existing coursework and inspire curiosity across disciplines.
The Woodlands Methodist School serves Pre-K through 8th grade, offering a joyful Christian education that fosters a love of learning, academic excellence, and positive impact. Small class sizes and hands-on experiences create a dynamic, developmentally appropriate learning environment grounded in Christian values. As an outreach ministry of The Woodlands Methodist Church, the school supports its mission: to reach people for Jesus, disciple them in faith, and help those in need. Students of all faiths are welcome.
