National Nurses Day and Blue Angels Flyover
Today is National Nurses Day, celebrated annually on May 6 to raise awareness of the important role nurses play in society. It marks the beginning of National Nurses Week, which ends on May 12, the birthday of Florence Nightingale. In honor of National Nurses Day and to honor COVID-19 First Responders and other essential personnel, the Blue Angels flew over The Woodlands and continued its path throughout Houston as part of the America Strong collaborative salute from the US Navy.

Photos came in from local hospitals and residents as they celebrated the flyover and our medical professionals.
