The Woodlands Township holds 2024 Veterans Day Tribute at Central Fire Station

On Monday, November 11, 2024, The Woodlands Township honored and recognized the military men and women who have served our nation at the Veterans Day Tribute starting at 4 p.m. at the Central Fire Station located at 9951 Grogan’s Mill Road, The Woodlands, TX 77380.

The event featured a presentation of colors, musical performances, remarks by local dignitaries, reading of The Woodlands Township’s Veterans Day proclamation, remarks by veteran Township Board Director Richard Franks, message by Keynote Speaker Dr. ZJ. Aly – United States Army, and a Village troop donation challenge.

Throughout the event, a Care Package Drop-Off station was available to collect donations of recommended items for our troops overseas. The Village with the most donations will be honored with a special recognition. Couldn’t make it to the event? Deliver your donations to The Woodlands Township Townhall located at 2801 Technology Forest Blvd. Monday through Friday, 8 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. by Friday, November 15, 2024. Please view or download the list of recommended Care Package items here.
