April 2026 – Classes and Programs at Canopy Cancer Survivorship Center – Discover programs, classes and events at Canopy Cancer Survivorship Center! Canopy is a cancer survivorship on the campus of Memorial Hermann The Woodlands Medical Center. Canopy is open to men and women, no matter where you were treated, and for any kind of cancer – at no cost to you. Just as our hearts seek what truly satisfies, Easter reveals the resurrection of Jesus as the source of enduring hope, renewing love and new life. Deep down, we all carry a holy hunger — a longing for a hope that endures and a love that never fails. Just as spring follows winter, our spirits crave the renewal found in the resurrection. April 10-11, 2026 – Recharge: Single Parents Conference – Single parents are invited to Recharge 2026, April 10-11, at The Woodlands Methodist Church. Hear from author and speaker Vaneetha Rendall Risner, attend breakout sessions and spend time in worship. You will be encouraged, equipped and recharged. April 10, 11 & 12 – The Woodlands Waterway Arts Festival – A cherished spring tradition returns to Town Green Park and along The Woodlands Waterway® April 10–12, 2026, inviting art lovers to experience creativity in full bloom at The Woodlands Waterway Arts Festival. Produced by the local arts nonprofit The Woodlands Arts Council, the festival’s proceeds directly support year-round arts programming, including local microgrants and student art scholarships. April 10, 2026 – Art Dash Party – The 2026 Art Dash Party, presented by The Woodlands Compounding Pharmacy, kicks off The Woodlands Waterway Arts Festival weekend on Friday, April 10, from 6:30 PM to 10:00 PM at The Woodlands Waterway Marriott Hotel & Convention Center. More than 500 collectors, artists, and community leaders gather for this high-energy evening benefiting The Woodlands Arts Council’s student scholarships, microgrants, and outreach programs. The highlight of the night is the exciting 60-Second Art Dash, where participants race to claim one of more than 100 original works donated by nationally juried festival artists. Guests also enjoy gourmet cuisine, cocktails, live music, and a live auction of “Spring Reflection” by 2026 Featured Artist Taman VanScoy. April 11, 2026 – Children’s Memorial Hermann IRONKIDS Texas Fun Run & Doggie Dash – The Children’s Memorial Hermann IRONKIDS Texas Fun Run & Doggie Dash will be held on Saturday, April 11 at Northshore Park in The Woodlands. The IRONKIDS Fun Run offers young athletes the opportunity to feel the excitement of competition, while enjoying the outdoors and promoting healthy living. April 16, 2026 – The Woodlands Area Chamber of Commerce’s Volunteer Appreciation Luncheon – The C.A.R.E.S. Committee hosts the Annual Volunteer Appreciation Luncheon recognizing our nonprofit organization members for their amazing contributions and impact on our community. February 10 – April 30, 2026 – “Quietly Made” Art Exhibition – The Woodlands Arts Council presents “Quietly Made,” a collective exhibition featuring the work of three women artists, Jennifer Claussen, Jodi Walsh, and Brenda J. Bunten-Schloesser, on view from February 10 through April 30, 2026, at TWAC’s exhibition space. April 3–30, 2026 – Coach Deon April Basketball Programs in The Woodlands – Coach Deon Basketball’s April programs in The Woodlands focus on steady skill development, clear instruction, and consistent weekly progress for young players. Classes throughout the month provide a structured environment where players strengthen fundamentals, improve confidence, and develop a better understanding of the game through repetition and focused teaching. Featured April programs include the Girls Select Class and the Weekend Basketball Clinic, along with skill-focused classes such as Fundamentals First – Core Skills Class, Core Skills Class (Intermediate Players), and the Shooting Reps & Shot Consistency Class. Each program helps players develop key areas of the game including ball handling, shooting mechanics, footwork, spacing, and decision-making. April 3, 2026 – Eggtivities – The Woodlands Children’s Museum is excited to announce that its annual Eggtivities event will take place on Friday, April 3rd from 9:30am to 3:00pm and Saturday, April 4th, from 10:00am to 2:00pm. April 4, 2026 – Run & Done 3.1 – Run and Done 3.1 will take place on Saturday, April 4, 2026 beginning at 7 a.m. along The Woodlands Waterway. The race is produced by The Woodlands Township Parks and Recreation Department and is a USA Track and Field (USATF) sanctioned event, with awards provided for overall male and female, as well as first, second and third place in both male and female age groups. April 5, 2026 – The Woodlands Cars & Coffee for a Cause – The Woodlands Car Club car enthusiasts gather at Market Street the first Sunday of each month from 6-10 a.m. to provide a fun and creative way to give back to our community.
