June 17, 2025 – The Goonies: Film with Live Orchestra – Join The Cynthia Woods Mitchell Pavilion for the FREE Performing Arts show on Tuesday, June 17. Goonies never say die! Adventure and amazement await as the Houston Symphony brings this classic tale of childhood friendship and bravery to The Pavilion’s Main Stage! June 24, 2025 – Disco Night with Boogie Wonder Band – Join us at The Pavilion’s FREE performing arts concert with the Houston Symphony Orchestra. Gates open at 7 p.m., Show starts at 8 p.m. Disco never dies. The mirrorballs, outrageous outfits and brightly-colored, radiant dance floors are all part of the disco aesthetic. But if you ask us, the heart of any great disco song is the strings. That’s right – throw on any Donna Summer or Bee Gee’s vinyl and you’ll be met with an overwhelming wave of incredible violins, cellos and violas. June 26-28, 2025 – The Outsiders adapted by Christopher Sergel from the book by S.E. HintonThe Outsiders is coming to Lone Star College – Montgomery this summer! This beloved timeless classic tells the story of Ponyboy Curtis, a young Greaser in Tulsa, Oklahoma, who navigates a world of class conflict and violence between his gang and the rival Socs. This play rated is PG-13 for mature themes, violence, and language. Performances will be held in the Main Stage Theatre (D100) of Building D. Performance Dates are: Thursday, June 26 at 7pm, Friday, June 27 at 7pm, and Saturday, June 28 at 3pm. June 2025 – Classes and Programs at Canopy Cancer Survivorship Center – June is full with programs and events at Canopy Cancer Survivorship Center! Check out the June calendar for events and learn how to join here. Canopy is a cancer survivorship on the campus of Memorial Hermann The Woodlands Medical Center. Canopy is open to men and women, no matter where you were treated, and for any kind of cancer – at no cost to you. If your life has been impacted, whether you were the patient or the caregiver, you have a safe haven at Canopy.

June 1, 2025 – Cars & Coffee for a Cause – The Woodlands Car Club car enthusiasts gather at Market Street the first Sunday of each month from 6:30-10:00 a.m. to provide a fun and creative way to give back to our community. All types of cars/vehicles from classics, hot rods, exotics, and more are welcome. The Woodlands Car Club shares information about needful non-profit organizations in Montgomery County, and gives back through donations to the Market Street “Change for Charities” program. June 6, 2025 – Wine and Food Week’s Ladies of the Vine Tasting, Luncheon and Panel Discussion– Balanced, Bright, Complex, Nouveau, Unfiltered, Haute…All words that are used to describe incredible wines and incredible women. June 9-13, July 14-18, July 28 – August 1, 2025 – Foundation in Personal Finance for High School & College Students – Give your high school or college student an understanding of personal finance through Dave Ramsey’s Foundations in Personal Finance course. This one-week class teaches students about money management and wealth building. Cost is $125 per student. Daytime and evening sessions are available at The Woodlands Methodist Church throughout the summer beginning in June. June 13, 2025 – Woodlands Mahjong Society’s Tiles & Tapas – Join the Woodlands Mahjong Society on Friday, June 13 6-9pm for an exciting evening at their next event: Tiles and Tapas—a night dedicated to friendship, fun, and giving back! Hosted to support The Champion Project, this fundraiser promises a fantastic blend of games, delicious food, and charitable impact. June 14, 2025 – Outrun Hunger – Join the fight against hunger by participating in Montgomery County Food Bank’s annual Outrun Hunger event, featuring a 5K Trail Run/Walk & 1K Color Dash at The Lake House at Grand Central Park. The event’s proceeds benefit Montgomery County Food Bank’s programs for children, seniors, and families facing hunger in Montgomery County. This community-wide event offers summer fun for all ages. Participate in building a beautiful life size mosaic – FOR the community BY the community. Children are invited to create a Dinosaur Hat and a Nuts ‘n Bolts Key Chain art project and giggle along to a “dino-rific” reading at 11:00am. June 15, 2025 – Happy Father’s Day!

June 16-22, 2025 – BioBlitz Week – The Township is hosting a week-long “bioblitz” – a community effort to identify as many species as possible during National Pollinator Week, June 16-22, 2025. This effort provides an informal, fun opportunity for the public to learn together and share their enthusiasm for nature. And the information collected contributes to a genuine scientific survey. June 19, 2025 – Fairy Day – Celebrate International Fairy Day at The Woodlands Children’s Museum with a magical visit by the endearing Tinkerbell and photo opportunities at 10:30am, 11:30am, 12:30pm, and 1:30pm. Children will be enchanted by creating their own fairy wings and all adults and children are encouraged to wear their best fairy outfits. Special Storytimes for Fairy Day. June 20, 2025 – Moonlight Paddle – Join Boat House staff for this unique opportunity to see Lake Woodlands by moonlight – on a kayak! Kayaks will be decorated with lights to help illuminate the way. Participants will paddle out to Lake Woodlands and watch the moon rise over the water (weather permitting). Registration is required. Learn More.
