September 2024 – Classes and Programs at Canopy Cancer Survivorship Center – Canopy is a cancer survivorship on the campus of Memorial Hermann The Woodlands Medical Center. Canopy is open to men and women, no matter where you were treated, and for any kind of cancer – at no cost to you. If your life has been impacted, whether you were the patient or the caregiver, you have a safe haven at Canopy. September is full with programs and classes at Canopy Cancer Survivorship Center! August 1 – September 2, 2024 – Houston Restaurant Weeks – Now in its 21st year, Houston Restaurant Weeks is the largest annual fundraiser for the Houston Food Bank and has made a monumental impact by raising over $21 million to date. The Houston Food Bank is able to turn every dollar donated into three meals, which equates to over 63 million meals for food insecure Houstonians. Expect an extensive list of Houston’s hottest, newest, and most popular restaurants, all joining forces for Houston’s most anticipated foodie event of the year offering specially priced, multi-course prix fixe menus for brunch ($25), lunch ($25), or dinner ($39 or $55), available for dine-in and take-out. Learn More

September 18, 2024 – Once Upon A Symphony – Our favorite stories are filled with that special kind of magic, born in the heart of childhood adventure. Our favorite songs are, too. This show is a celebration of the fantastic fiction that lifts our spirits and makes us feel like we can fly, and the music that amplifies that feeling. Travel to far-away lands with the Woodlands Symphony as they lead you on a journey you’ll never forget. Fight dragons, find friends, experience wonder – and then come home to tell the tale around a warm fire. If you’re wondering where you should start your child’s adventures with classical music, there’s no better show than this one! Today – September 25 – Women’s Fall Bible study registrations are open at The Woodlands Methodist Church! You’ll find studies offered throughout the week as well as evening and online options designed to fit all schedules. Childcare is available for most studies. We encourage you to participate in a Bible study this fall to gain knowledge of the Scriptures but to also transform your life and lead you closer to God. Whether you are a seasoned study participant or someone looking to explore the Bible for the first time, our fall programing has something for everyone. September 27, 2024 – The Woodlands Area Chamber of Commerce’s 46th Annual Meeting & Awards Luncheon – Join The Woodlands Area Chamber of Commerce as they recognize member anniversaries, retiring Board Members and Team Leaders at The Woodland Country Club. Specialty Awards will be given to Chamber Diplomat of the Year, Community Citizen of the Year, Chamber Volunteer of the Year and Emerging Leader. September 7 – Lazy River 5K – This unique event invites participants of all fitness levels to test their endurance by running against the current of Rob Fleming’s iconic lazy river on Saturday, September 7 at 9 a.m. Whether you are new to water walking or simply looking for an engaging way to stay active, the Lazy River 5K offers something for everyone. Participants can choose to compete in the full 5K, a 1-mile run or join forces with friends in a 3-person relay team. September 11, 2024 – Patriot Day of Remembrance – Please join The Woodlands Township for a ceremony to honor the brave men and women who tragically lost their lives during the terrorist attacks of September 11, 2001. September 13, 2024 – Shoot Out Hunger – Montgomery County Food Bank is aiming high for its 12th annual Shootout Hunger sporting clays tournament on Friday, September 13, 2024 at Blackwood Sporting Co. located at 11400 FM 2854 Rd, Conroe, TX 77304. Shootout Hunger, presented by Cowboy Kia, raises awareness and funds to help provide food for children, families and seniors facing hunger in Montgomery County. September 21, 2024 – Woodforest Bank Charity Run – Woodforest National Bank will host the 14th Annual Woodforest Bank Charity Run on Saturday, September 21, 2024 at Heritage Park in downtown Conroe. September 26 – 28, 2024 – TWHS Theater’s Production of “Art” – The Woodlands High School Theater presents “Art,” a comedy by Yasmina Reza, September 26-28. A seemingly simple purchase of modern art – an all-white painting – ignites a hilarious debate amongst three close friends. What begins as a light-hearted discussion about art quickly descends into a riotous exploration of the blurred lines between art and reality.
