Today – Monday, September 1, 2025 – Houston Restaurant Weeks
Celebrating its 22nd year, Houston Restaurant Weeks will officially begin August 1 and run through Labor Day, September 1. From award-winning fine dining to casual neighborhood restaurants, diners can sample some of the best that Houston’s culinary scene has to offer. Restaurants from the Galleria, Inner Loop, West Houston, East End, Midtown, Downtown, Sugar Land to Galveston and The Woodlands will be participating! Houston Restaurant Weeks raises funds for the Houston Food Bank, and for restaurants located in Montgomery County the funds will go to benefit the Montgomery County Food Bank. Learn More

Saturday, August 30, 2025 – The Woodlands Kiwanis Club’s Annual Kids’ Fishing Tournament
Kids from toddlers to age 16 are welcome to try their hand at fishing Saturday, August 30 at Creekwood Park in Panther Creek. Pack and bring your gear (rods, reels, and tackle), they’ve got the bait covered! Volunteers, including local Key Club members from The Woodlands Kiwanis Club, will be on-site to lend a hand and plenty of encouragement with every cast.
