In other action, the Board received a report regarding the Houston-Galveston Area Council Montgomery County Precinct 2 Mobility Study and the potential impact that it may have on roadways in and adjacent to The Woodlands. The mobility study analyzes current and future conditions (e.g., population, employment, other relevant demographics, roadway network, and economic vitality) to identify existing traffic bottlenecks and roadway facilities with high congestion levels and/or potentially unsafe conditions. The study will result in a list of projects that will guide short, medium and long-range transportation investment decisions. The study has been funded by the Federal Highway Administration and Montgomery County Precinct 2. View presentation.
