TRAFFIC ADVISORY: The Woodlands Marathon on Saturday, February 28
Heads up, Montgomery County! Whether you’re running 26.2 miles or just running to the grocery store, you’ll want to plan ahead this Saturday.
The Woodlands Marathon is taking place on February 28th, 2026. To ensure the safety of the thousands of athletes hitting the pavement, there will be significant road closures and traffic diversions throughout the area.

- Impact Time: 6:00 AM – 2:00 PM
- Expect: Closed lanes, redirected traffic, and heavy delays on major thoroughfares.
Plan Your Route:
If you need to travel through The Woodlands during these hours, please allow for extra time or seek alternate routes. Our deputies will be out across the course to help direct traffic and keep everyone safe.
