Ahead of next weekend’s large-scale car show, Sheriff Wesley Doolittle has assembled a multi-agency unified task force to ensure the safety of the Montgomery County community, event attendees, and the general public. While the upcoming car show is a lawful event, “history has shown that unaffiliated individuals often engage in dangerous ‘after-party’ activities. Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office and participating agencies are sending a clear, collective message: Illegal street racing, roadway takeovers, and reckless driving will not be tolerated.”

Sheriff Doolittle and Partner Law Enforcement Agencies from Montgomery County and Harris County spoke at and were present at the press conference:

  • Montgomery County Sheriff Wesley Doolittle – Speaker
  • District Attorney Mike Holley – Speaker
  • Harris County Sheriff’s Office A. McConnell – Speaker
  • Houston Police Department Assistant Chief A. Rodriguez – Speaker
  • DPS: Captain H. Scarborough
