THE WOODLANDS, TX – Don’t be late for this very important date! On Friday, October 7, 2022, children can enjoy a visit with Alice in Wonderland, the Mad Hatter, and the Queen of Hearts at The Woodlands Children’s Museum’s annual Mad Hatter Tea Party.

Described in the classic novel as an “unbirthday party,” guests can sip from fine china and decorate delicious cookies as they imagine a visit down the rabbit hole into a dreamlike world.

“We are delighted to offer this annual event to our community by presenting a fun, family environment where memories can be shared,” stated Angela Colton, the museum’s Executive Director. “Alice in Wonderland is a multi-generational fairytale that great-grandparents, grandparents, parents, and children can all share and enjoy.”

During the event, a special reading of Alice in Wonderland by Lewis Carroll will take place on stage at 11:00 am. The whimsical tale about Alice’s adventures with the White Rabbit, Cheshire Cat, and March Hare helps introduce children to the wonder of reading and promotes early literacy. The reading is part of a Storybook Theatre series presented each Friday by the museum’s education staff, bringing both new and classic tales to life for our young audience.
