MONTGOMERY COUNTY, TX – In its 33rd year, the Montgomery County Women’s Council of Organizations (MCWCO) serves the community by providing nonprofit organizations a forum to network and honor a volunteer from its organization at the annual Women of Distinction luncheon.

Montgomery County Women’s Council of Organizations 2023 Board Woman of Distinction Luncheon and Award

Each year, members from local nonprofit organizations gather to honor their chosen volunteer to be their “Woman of Distinction.” Award recipients are recognized for the numerous hours, unyielding commitment, and loyal dedication they have provided to their organization.

The Women of Distinction luncheon will be on Friday, May 5, 2023 at The Woodlands Waterway Marriott Hotel and Convention Center. Registration begins at 10:30am with the luncheon from 11am to 1pm.

The theme for this year’s luncheon is Cinco de Mayo, and attendees can join in the festive celebration by dressing in a colorful Cinco de Mayo outfit.

“These women are strong and serve as the backbone of the organization. Many of the ladies have been volunteering with their respective nonprofit for decades,” said Rita Wiltz, MCWCO President. “Honoring one female volunteer at our luncheon is a generous way to give back to those who are typically behind the scenes.”

The MCWCO mission is simple: to honor an unpaid volunteer at the annual Women of Distinction luncheon. Its purpose is more robust with a dedicated volunteer board of directors.
