Houston Methodist The Woodlands celebrates Stroke Heroes and Patients

Houston Methodist The Woodlands Hospital hosted their Stroke Hero Celebration on Thursday, October 24. Hosted by the Department of Neurology, the event celebrated Stroke Heroes and Houston Methodist The Woodlands stroke patients were given the unique opportunity to reconnect with the men and women who cared for them, from the time their families called 911 through their recovery process.

The program included an opening ceremony with Kerrie Guerrero, CNO, prayer with Randall Trego, Director of Spiritual Care, welcome with Dr. Nhu Bruce, Medical Director of Neurology, lunch, and key speakers and stroke survivors Dayna Savage and Thomas Woody.
