The Woodlands Township extends our heartfelt thoughts and prayers to the residents of Kerrville, Hunt, Ingram, San Angelo and the surrounding areas affected by the devastating floods in Central Texas. Our thoughts are with those who have experienced loss, and we recognize the strength it will take to recover in the days, weeks, and months ahead.

The Woodlands Fire Department has deployed some members to assist with search and rescue efforts, and we are grateful for their dedication and service during this difficult time.

While everyone offers support in their own way — whether through action, compassion or prayer — we know many in our community are looking for ways to help. Officials in Kerr County have indicated that they have no need for food, water, or other goods. They stated that monetary donations have a far greater impact as dollars allow responders to meet specific needs quickly and efficiently.
