October 22, 2026 – Flourish & Nourish Ladies Luncheon – Join Montgomery County Food Bank for the inaugural Flourish & Nourish Ladies Luncheon on Thursday, October 22, presented by Houston Methodist The Woodlands Hospital. The event is co-chaired by Montgomery County Food Bank board members, Jacqueline Huntsman Calder and Krystle Riley, Vice President and Chief Operating Officer of Houston Methodist The Woodlands Hospital. Hosted at the Blue Magnolia, this inspiring afternoon will celebrate the women who help our community flourish through leadership, generosity, and service. October 2, 2026 – Memorial Hermann In the Pink of Health luncheon – The 26th Anniversary of In the Pink of Health luncheon to be held at The Woodlands Waterway Marriott on Friday, October 2. Over the last 25 years, Memorial Hermann’s In the Pink of Health has invested over $9.7 million in the community to advance its mission. In the Pink of Health raises funds throughout the year, culminating with its annual luncheon. These funds are essential to support the In the Pink of Health mission to change lives by reducing the incidence of breast and ovarian cancer and assist cancer survivors on their journey. Learn More
October 3, 2026 – Run For Hope – The 15th annual Run for Hope benefitting Love Fosters Hope will be held at The Woodlands Waterway on Saturday October 3 at 7AM – 10AM. This family event will feature lots of fun, breakfast, and beautiful scenery while running to raise funds to transform the lives of kids and teens in foster care. Medals will be presented to the overall winners of the 5K and 10K races for the age group winners, both male and female. The 1 mile Fun Run is a run or walk event. Learn More
October 3, 2026 – 19th Annual Duck Race – Get ready for one of Montgomery County’s favorite family traditions! October 3, 2026 – Fast Draw Competition – The Woodlands Arts Council’s Fast Draw Competition returns on Saturday, October 3, 2026 at 9:30 a.m. at The Woodlands Mall. Open to 7th-8th & 9th-12th graders in The Woodlands and Montgomery County. New this year! High school students are invited to participate! In previous years, this competition was open only to students in 7th and 8th grade. This year, we’re excited to expand the competition to include high school students as well! October 4, 2026 – The Woodlands Cars & Coffee for a Cause – The Woodlands Car Club car enthusiasts gather at Market Street the first Sunday of each month from 6-10 a.m. to provide a fun and creative way to give back to our community. All types of cars/vehicles from classics, hot rods, exotics, and more are welcome. The Woodlands Car Club shares information about needful non-profit organizations in Montgomery County, and gives back through donations to the Market Street “Change for Charities” program. Learn More

October 6 – November 10, 2026 – Mind Your Marriage: “Love and War” – Join The Woodlands Methodist Church for Love and War, a 6 week study for married couples. Dr. Stew Grant will teach from of the book Love and War by international authors John and Stasi Eldredge. A Dinner option is offered weekly before class and limited childcare is available. October 9-11, 2026 – Conroe Cajun Catfish Festival – The Conroe Cajun Catfish Festival, now in its 37th year, is a family-friendly event that features non-stop live music with local, regional and national performers on two stages, food vendors offering festival and cajun favorites, various exhibitors to shop at, a professional carnival, and an annual Catfish Pageant. The festival will be held at the Montgomery County Fairgrounds, 9333 Airport Rd, Conroe, TX 77303. Learn More
October 10, 2026 – Memorial Hermann 10 for Texas – The Memorial Hermann 10 for Texas 10-mile race, 3.1 Armadillo Run 5K, and One 4 Texas Kids’ Fun Run through The Woodlands will be held Saturday, October 10, 2026, beginning at Northshore Park. These races are produced by The Woodlands Township Parks and Recreation Department. The Memorial Hermann 10 for Texas race is a USA Track and Field (USATF) sanctioned event with a certified 10-mile course. All races will be capped. October 10, 2026 – Pumpkin Float – Join The Woodlands Township for Pumpkin Float on Saturday, October 10 from 3 to 5 p.m. at Lakeside Pool. October 14, 2026 – Christian College Fair – Save the Date! The Christian College Fair is coming to The Woodlands Christian Academy and it is open to the public! The Woodlands Christian Academy is excited to welcome the Houston Area (North) Christian College Fair this fall. Families will have the opportunity to meet representatives from Christian colleges and universities from across the country, ask questions, explore programs and scholarships, and discover schools they may not have considered before. This is a wonderful opportunity for high school students and their families throughout our community, so feel free to invite friends, neighbors, church families, and homeschool families to join us. October 17, 2026 – Founders Cup Tennis Tournament – Grab your racquet and rally for bragging rights at the 3rd Annual Founders Cup Tennis Tournament that will be held on Saturday, October 17, 2026 at The Woodlands Tennis Courts beginning at 8 a.m. The Founders Cup brings players together for a day of doubles competition and fun across The Woodlands Township tennis courts. October 17, 2026 – The Woodlands Wildflower Festival – The Woodlands Lions Club, in partnership with The Woodlands Township, is hosting The Woodlands Wildflower Festival on Saturday, October 17, 2026, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at Rob Fleming Park, 6055 Creekside Forest Drive, The Woodlands, 77389. This free, family event features thousands of wildflower seed packets in many different varieties that are distributed free to the community by generous seed sponsors. October 18, 2026 – Cochran’s Crossing Village Association Annual Fall Festival – The annual Cochran’s Crossing Village Association’s free family fun Fall Festival is Sunday, October 18 at 1 – 4 p.m. at Shadowbend Park. Free hotdogs and cookies, carnival games with prizes, face painting, Swiftie bracelet making, inflatables, rock climbing wall, trackless train, giant bubbles, DJ, and petting zoo. October 25, 2026 – Trick or Treat Trail – Princesses, pirates, ghosts and goblins are invited to don their costumes and enjoy a spooktacular celebration at the annual Trick or Treat Trail featuring Monster Mash at the Rob Fleming Recreation Center on Sunday, October 25, 2026, from 1 to 5 p.m. While at the event, children have the opportunity to trick or treat from booth to booth and fill their bags with goodies from local vendors. October 25, 2026 – Junior Urban Naturalists: Bones and the Story They Tell – This is a FREE hands-on, minds-on exploration for kids 6 years and older on Sunday, Oct. 25 at 1pm at Village Books, 9955 Woodlands Pkwy Ste F, The Woodlands, TX 77382. What can you tell about an animal by looking at its skull? Why do kids have more bones than grownups? What’s the difference between a horn and an antler? October 26, 2026 – Dragon Booster Club Golf Tournament – For nearly four decades, the Dragon Booster Club Golf Tournament has brought the Cooper community together for a day of friendly competition, meaningful connections, and Dragon pride. The 39th annual tournament will be held on Monday, October 26, 2026, at The Woodlands Country Club Palmer Course, with registration opening on Wednesday, July 1, 2026.
