Conroe ISD Superintendent application window closes; Community engagement ongoing

The application window for the next Superintendent of Conroe ISD officially closed on Friday, July 18, 2025. A strong pool of highly-qualified candidates, representing some of the best talent from across Texas and the nation, have submitted application materials.

Additionally, five community forums were held earlier in the month throughout the district to gather stakeholder input. In addition to the forums, a districtwide survey has garnered more than 5,000 responses to date, providing valuable insight from students, parents, staff, and community members.

The survey remains open through July 28, 2025, and all stakeholders are encouraged to participate if they haven’t already. The brief, anonymous survey can be accessed at http://tiny.conroeisd.net/K7ETj .

The Conroe ISD Board of Trustees is tentatively scheduled to meet on August 5, 2025 during a special-called board meeting, to review applicant materials and identify candidates for first-round interviews. The Board remains committed to a thoughtful, community-informed selection process aimed at securing an exceptional leader for the future of the district.
