The Woodlands Township shared an update on Monday, January 26, 2026 at 9:16 a.m.:

“Update 1/26: There are no current road closures in The Woodlands.”

Montgomery County Judge Keough shared the following Monday, January 26, 2026 6 a.m. update:

“I have no information about any roadways that are closed in Montgomery County at this time.

Most of our roadways are ice free.

Elevated surfaces like overpasses or bridges may still have some ice on them. Please exercise caution while driving over these roadways.

It is bitterly cold outside at this time and some warming will occur today. With the sun out we may see some melting of any ice. This melt will refreeze tonight when it gets a little bit colder than what we just saw Sunday night.

For now no major power outages are reported across the county. With a few outages having restoration efforts underway.

Please be careful if you have to get out and about today and stay warm.

Be safe! The brutal cold is almost over and we’ll return to a more normal weather pattern for this time of year on Wednesday.

Updates will come today as I have information to share.”
