Alpha School to open new K-8 Campus in The Woodlands with innovative AI-powered education
The Woodlands®, a Howard Hughes® community, today announced that Alpha School will open a new K–8 campus for the 2026–2027 school year, bringing an innovative, AI-powered educational model to one of the most academically accomplished communities in Texas. The addition of Alpha School expands educational choice for families in The Woodlands and reinforces the community’s longstanding commitment to high-quality academic programs.

Located at 2000 Woodlands Parkway, adjacent to The Woodlands Waterway, Alpha The Woodlands will initially serve students in kindergarten through eighth grade. The approximately 8,000-square-foot campus is designed to feature open workshop spaces and innovative classrooms that support personalized instruction, core academics, leadership development, and real-world life skills.

Founded in 2014, Alpha School combines adaptive technology-driven academic instruction with immersive life skills workshops. Its model emphasizes mastery-based learning in core subjects alongside development of communication, critical thinking, financial literacy, and leadership skills.
