The John Cooper School Students celebrate National College Decision Day Together during Senior Class Lunch

With excitement, laughter, and a touch of reflection, the Class of 2026 gathered to share their next steps, proudly wearing college colors and tee-shirts that represent years of dedication and growth. The moment captured both celebration and transition, as students honored their journeys From Curiosity to Wisdom while looking ahead to new opportunities.

This year’s class reflects a wide range of interests and aspirations, with applications submitted to hundreds of colleges and universities across the United States and around the world. From campuses close to home in Texas to destinations across North America and abroad, these students are preparing to begin the next chapter of their academic journeys. 

The Class of 2026 will attend an impressive array of schools, representing diverse fields of study and ambitions. Their choices highlight both the strength of their preparation and the individuality of their goals.

Reflecting on the class, the Director of College Counseling shared that while students are heading in many different directions, the foundation built during their time at Cooper will continue to guide them. Their effort, curiosity, and leadership have shaped their paths, and those qualities will remain essential as they move forward into college and beyond. 

As The John Cooper School celebrates the Class of 2026, the entire community extends its congratulations and best wishes. This class leaves behind a lasting impact defined by commitment, thoughtful engagement, and leadership, carrying forward the spirit of a challenging and supportive school community into everything that comes next.

The John Cooper School is an independent, non-sectarian, co-educational, college preparatory day school. The School’s mission is to provide a challenging education in a caring environment to a diverse group of select students, enabling them to become critical and creative thinkers, effective communicators, responsible citizens and leaders, and lifelong learners.
