Interfaith of The Woodlands welcomes Jennifer Huffine to Leadership Team
Interfaith of The Woodlands is pleased to announce the appointment of Jennifer Huffine as Vice President of Community Impact. Huffine brings more than 15 years of nonprofit experience, along with three decades of leadership in management, operations, and strategic program development. Returning to Interfaith’s executive leadership team, she will help expand and strengthen programs serving neighbors in need throughout the community.
“Jennifer brings a strong combination of experience, transformational leadership, and a deep understanding of our community’s evolving needs,” said Missy Herndon, President and CEO of Interfaith of The Woodlands. “Her dedication to service and thoughtful strategic approach will strengthen our efforts to ensure every neighbor has access to the resources and support needed to achieve stability and self-sufficiency.”

In her role as Vice President of Community Impact, Huffine will oversee the strategic direction, growth, and effectiveness of Interfaith’s Programs and Services. She will work collaboratively across departments to enhance programs, strengthen partnerships, and ensure neighbors receive compassionate, high-quality support. Additionally, she will provide oversight of Interfaith’s expansion opportunity and vision planning to meet the current and future needs.
Prior to rejoining Interfaith, Huffine served as CEO of The Community Assistance Center, where she led initiatives focused on crisis assistance, financial stability, and client-centered care. She also previously served as Co-Director of Programs & Services at Interfaith of The Woodlands and as Associate Director of Development at Montgomery County United Way, supporting fundraising and community engagement efforts.
A graduate of Leadership Montgomery County (Class of 2015), and the Inaugural LMC Master class, Huffine has demonstrated a strong commitment to community leadership and service. She has served on the Conroe Lake Conroe Chamber Board of Directors, Woodlands Area Chamber of Commerce Business Summit Team, Montgomery County Food Bank Impact Council and the Texas A&M AgriLife Extension Leadership Advisory Board, contributing to regional efforts addressing food insecurity and community development.
“I am honored to return to Interfaith and continue serving an organization that has such a meaningful impact on our community,” shared Huffine. “I look forward to building on the incredible work already being done and helping strengthen Programs and Services that support neighbors through every stage of need.”
Huffine and her husband, Michael, are proud parents of five children. Outside of her professional work, she enjoys spending time with family and embracing all things rooted in nature and faith.
