Parade Singers and Performances announced for the South County 4th of July Parade
The South County 4th of July Committee is thrilled to announce that LT Fiona Sullivan, USN, NC, Liv Garcia, Mackenzie Coetzee, and a Quartet from The Woodlands Show Chorus will be performing at this year’s Fourth of July Parade at three key locations along the parade route.
Parade-goers will enjoy National Anthem performances by Liv Garcia at Market Street, LT Fiona Sullivan, USN, NC, at Town Green Park, and Mackenzie Coetzee in front of the Cynthia Woods Mitchell Pavilion, setting the stage for a patriotic day of celebration and unity.
Later in the morning, the Quartet from The Woodlands Show Chorus will conclude the parade with a powerful rendition of “God Bless America” from the Market Street balcony, creating a memorable finale for parade spectators.
Join us for these inspiring performances as we celebrate our community, our traditions, and our nation’s enduring spirit.

Born in Opelousas, Louisiana and raised in The Woodlands, Texas, 15-year-old vocalist Liv Garcia has been singing for as long as she can remember. Now entering her sophomore year of high school, Liv has been performing on stage since the age of nine and continues to grow her passion for music through choir, live performance, and songwriting.
For the past six seasons, Liv has had the honor of performing both “God Bless America” and the National Anthem for the Houston Astros. Her performance experience also includes National Anthem appearances for Veterans Day ceremonies at Bush Intercontinental Airport and events for The Woodlands Township.
Liv has attended the Sarah Kelly Music School since the age of nine under the guidance of two-time Grammy nominee Sarah Kelly. Her debut single “Good Enough For Me” earned her placement on the Grammy ballot and she plans to continue developing her artistry while pursuing new music and performance opportunities.
Outside of music, Liv enjoys spending time with family and friends, playing piano, attending concerts, and sharing her musical journey on Instagram at @liv_onthemic.

LT Fiona Sullivan, USN, NC, served 8 years in the US Navy Nurse Corps. She was a training officer for her US Navy Reserve detachment and an expeditionary medical facility nurse assigned to EMF Camp Pendleton and EMF Dallas One. For 10 years she also performed with the Houston Symphony Chorus. She lives in Conroe with her husband Todd, also a US Navy veteran, her two daughters Ashlyn and Shelby, who is married to Andrew Smith, and her two granddaughters, LauraBeth and Palmer Kate.
Mackenzie Coetzee is a rising freshman at The Woodlands High School and is a member of both The Woodlands High School color guard team and theatre department. Mackenzie has been passionate about the performing arts from a young age and has participated in choir since 4th grade. Mackenzie lives in The Woodlands and has performed at various community events and is excited to continue to grow her passion for music, theatre and the performing arts.

The Grand Finale of the parade will be a performance of “God Bless America”, brought to you by a quartet from The Woodlands Show Chorus. The Woodlands Show Chorus, a chapter of SingUnited International (formerly Sweet Adeline International), is a women’s singing ensemble of approximately 50 women of all ages. They sing 4-part a cappella music encompassing all styles and genres. TWSC sings in the community and is also a competitive chorus, performing both in the state of Texas and in international competitions in other US locations. The Show Chorus, directed by Kerri Mauney, rehearses at First Presbyterian Church (Family Life Center) located at 2727 N Loop 336 W in Conroe on Monday nights. Women singers of all ages and skill sets are welcome to visit a rehearsal any time.
