Memorial Hermann Recognizes Employees Who Missed Graduation Due to COVID-19

THE WOODLANDS, TX – COVID-19 put a damper on many 2020 graduations across the country. Memorial Hermann The Woodlands Medical Center created a memorable experience for its own employees by staging an impromptu graduation ceremony during this challenging time.
During National Nurses’ Week, a graduation ceremony was held in the hospital’s conference center for 31 employees. Masks were worn and social distancing practiced, all but during a brief photo opp that traditional grads get to experience.
It was a true family affair too. Nurse Denise Martin (Trauma Svcs.) and her daughter, nurse Kaley Martin (OBS), were both part of this graduating co-hort.
