Art of the Future Exhibition now on display at Ardest Gallery in The Woodlands
On Saturday, January 13, Ardest Gallery held the opening reception for the “Art of the Future” Exhibition featuring works by over 20 Texas artists and juried by Joseph Staley. The show will be open until February 2, 2024.

“Art of the Future” Juror Joseph Staley is an art historian, curator, and artist based in Houston. He currently serves as the Chairman of Fine Arts for Young Texas Artists, a Texas-based non-profit devoted to supporting young artists in all forms: musicians, dancers, vocalists, writers, and visual artists. In this role, he curates visual art exhibitions featuring energetic young artists from across the state, hosts educational art history seminars, and builds lasting connections between artists, our patrons, and the public at large. He previously held the role as the Executive Curator for Glade Gallery in The Woodlands, wrote as an art critic for OutSmart magazine, and started his own contemporary art space, Joseph Staley Projects, formally housed in Montrose.
Ardest Gallery, a local fine arts gallery curated by Gallery Director Julie Verville, represents nearly 40, top Texas 2D and 3D visual artists. In addition to its core artists, the gallery will host ongoing events such as monthly group art shows, Coffee Talk with an Artist, Art to Lunch in partnership with local restaurants, poetry readings, musical performances, and art classes/workshops for all ages and skill levels.
