Bike The Woodlands Day is Saturday, May 17
May is National Bike Month, and The Woodlands is ready to ride! Whether you’re a seasoned cyclist or just love a leisurely cruise, gear up for a month full of fun, fitness and two-wheeled adventures for all ages and skill levels.
Mark your calendars for the main event: Bike The Woodlands Day on Saturday, May 17, 2025 from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. at The Recreation Center at Rob Fleming Park. It’s a celebration of all things biking—with local bike shops, clubs and community groups setting up shop to share tips, gear and good vibes.
Bike to the event and score a FREE Kona Ice snow cone! The first 150 bikers to arrive at the event will receive a free Kona Ice snow cone.
Once you’re there, take your pick of three fun group rides led by local volunteers:
- The Pathways Ride: A laid-back 5–7-mile cruise along the Township’s scenic pathways. Great for families and casual riders (kids must ride with an adult).
- The Adult Ride: Up for more of a challenge? Tackle a 15-mile road route through the Village of Creekside Park—perfect for experienced riders.
- The Trail Ride: Explore the great outdoors on a 5–10-mile trail adventure through the George Mitchell Preserve, starting right from Rob Fleming Park.
Grab your helmet, pump up those tires and come be part of Bike The Woodlands Day. May is the perfect time to explore The Woodlands on two wheels—see you out there!
