Blood donations Needed Immediately to Rebuild Supply

By  |

Are you looking for a way to help others in the aftermath of Hurricane Harvey? Blood donations are highly needed for our community. The Gulf Coast Regional Blood Center was unable to collect any donations for three days, and donations are needed to rebuild the supply for the patients in our region.

Gulf Coast Regional Blood Center shared that “Donations will be highly needed on Sunday, Monday and Tuesday, since hospitals are resuming normal operations, so we ask that some donors consider giving at that time if possible.”

The locations listed below are currently accepting donations.

Neighborhood Donor Center

Friday, Sept. 1, open at 8 a.m.
To ensure collections and processing are completed on schedule, donors arriving after 2 p.m. will be requested to reschedule their donations for another day.
