Boots, Buckles and Bling for Local Student Scholarships
On Friday, January 20, 2017 the community came together for the “Boots, Buckles and Bling” North County Dance at the North Montgomery County Community Center in Willis, Texas. The event was hosted by the Houston Metro Go Texan Committee with the Willis/Conroe/The Woodlands Subcommittee and raised funds for scholarships to support students in Conroe and Montgomery ISD.

At the dance attendees enjoyed a BBQ dinner by Jr’s BBQ & Catering, drinks served by Kat Daddy’s Bar & Grill, and music from South County Line and George Strait Tribute performer, Derek Spence. The event also included a silent and live auction that in 2016 helped raise over fourteen $18,000 scholarships awarded to local students.
