Boots vs. Badges Annual Softball Game this Saturday
In celebration of National Night Out, come out to McCullough Junior High School’s Scotland Yard and root for both of your home teams during a friendly game of softball between The Woodlands Fire Department (WFD) and the Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office (MCSO). The annual competition takes place on Sunday, September 15, 2024, from 4 to 7 p.m. At McCullough Junior High School, 3800 S. Panther Creek Drive.
Both teams will showcase their competitive spirit while promoting safety and community engagement, a goal shared by The Woodlands Township. Admission to the event is free, food, including an ice cream truck, will be available for attendees.
Get in the spirit and watch the banter begin starting with Dad Jokes with Fire Chief Buck and Captain Holifield. Get ready for some laughs as the WFD and MCSO match wits before brawn!
New this year – Hot Rods & Home Runs Community Car Display
Arrive early to enjoy a special feature of this year’s event, the “Hot Rods & Home Runs” Community Car Display. From 3 to 5 p.m., attendees can view a stunning selection of classic and modern cars at the McCullough Junior High School West Parking Lot, located at 3800 S. Panther Creek Drive. Car enthusiasts who wish to participate and display their vehicles can sign up through the Hot Rods & Home Runs RSVP link. Join us for a free, unforgettable experience along with the annual Boots vs Badges softball game. We will have food, awards and a kid zone!
Boots vs. Badges Softball Game, coordinated by The Woodlands Township Neighborhood Services Department, gives the Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office and The Woodlands Fire Department the rare opportunity to go head-to-head and battle it out on the field for this year’s trophy. Guests can relish in the fellow sportsmanship and spirited rivalry of these two teams and catch a glimpse of a few home runs. Who will win this one? Join us at the game to find out!
