The Woodlands Township’s 27th Annual Woodlands Landscaping Solutions to be held Sept. 28
The Woodlands Township 27th annual Woodlands Landscaping Solutions will take place on Saturday, September 28, 2024, from 9 a.m. to noon at The Recreation Center at Rob Fleming Park, located at 6464 Creekside Forest Drive, The Woodlands, TX 77389. This is a free event dedicated to promoting sustainable landscaping practices.
Organized by The Woodlands Township Environmental Services Department, Woodlands Landscaping Solutions offers residents an opportunity to learn from experts on creating landscapes that are both beautiful and environmentally friendly. This one-day event is the premier lawn and gardening event in the region.
Attendees will have the chance to engage with professionals on topics such as sustainable gardening, landscaping, lawn and tree care, and more. The event will also include educational booths and fast-tracked compost classes all of which reflect our gardening conditions. Compost classes will be held at 9:30 a.m., 10:30 a.m. and 11:30 a.m. inside The Recreation Center at Rob Fleming Park.
Participants are encouraged to bring samples of any challenging plants for on-site diagnosis and consult with experts for personalized advice. Additionally, visitors can explore a variety of products available for purchase, including rain barrels, compost bins, local honey, and native plants.
Woodlands Landscaping Solutions is an ideal event for anyone looking to enhance their gardening skills, adopt sustainable practices, or simply enjoy a day of learning and community engagement. Enjoy live music, explore a selection of native plants for sale, and participate in engaging activities for children. There is something for everyone!
