Boston Pops kicks off The Pavilion’s 2025 Performing Arts season with an intergalactic journey

By  |

In a galaxy far, far away…well actually at our local concert venue, The Cynthia Woods Mitchell Pavilion, Keith Lockhart and the Boston Pops kicked off the 2025 Performing Arts season with an intergalactic journey through the Star Wars saga on Saturday, April 5.

The nostalgic and familiar notes of John Williams rang across The Woodlands as Boston Pops brought Star Wars: The Story in Music to the Main Stage. Attendees joined Luke and Leia on the Millenium Falcon as they flew from episode to episode, highlighting favorite scores from each movie.  Pre-show activities included cosmos-themed crafts and activities, as well as meet and greets with jedi masters and droids. Darth Vader even made a special appearance, searching for any rebels or rogue ones.
