Cancellation of Grand Jury Selection on March 24

Currently, the 418^th District Court has summoned Grand Jurors to report on Tuesday, March 24^th, but that selection process has been canceled.

The Montgomery County District Attorney’s Office provided the following statement on March 19:

“Please be advised that the Montgomery County Grand Jury selection that had been scheduled for Tuesday, March 24, 2020, at 1:00 p.m. (C.S.T.) in the 418^th District Court of Montgomery County, Texas, has been CANCELLED due to the COVID-19 State of Disaster.  Any person that may have been summoned is NOT required to appear.”
