CISD Students Spread Holiday Cheer at 2019 Holly Jolly Jingle

CONROE, TX – Students from across Conroe ISD participated in the 5th Holly Jolly Jingle held at The Cynthia Woods Mitchell Pavilion on Thursday, December 5th. The event was attended by over 4,700 members of the public and featured the musical talents of approximately 700 junior high and high school musicians.

Attendees were treated to pre-concert performances on the plazas by the Conroe High School Choir, members of The Woodlands High School Carolers, the Conroe High School and Knox Junior High Strings Groups, The Woodlands College Park High School Rhythm N Blues, the Conroe High School Mariachi Group, and the York Junior High Orchestra.

Preshow entertainment was provided by the Conroe High School Jazz Band followed by program performances by The Woodlands High School Orchestra, the Oak Ridge High School Symphony Orchestra, and The Woodlands College Park High School Symphony Orchestra.

The crowd was also treated to a recorded retelling of ‘Twas the Night Before Christmas by Rice Elementary students, and Bozman Intermediate Choir singing Santa Claus is Coming to Town.
