City of Tomball Announces 2021 Events

TOMBALL, TX – The City of Tomball has set its 2021 festival calendar, bringing back signature favorites such as the Rails & Tails Mudbug Festival and the award-winning GroovFest.

“GroovFest,” the Texas Festivals & Events Association’s choice as Best Festival in Texas in 2018, is among the signature events returning to Tomball in 2021.

2021 Event Lineup

  • May 1 – The Rails & Tails Mudbug Festival
  • June 19 – Honky Tonk Chili Challenge – A CASI (Chili Appreciation Society International) event
  • July 4 – July 4th Celebration & Street Festival
  • September 18 – GroovFest – A Celebration of all Things Groovy Baby!
  • October 2 – Paces 4 Pink
  • October 9 – Zomball in Tomball
  • October 16 – Bluegrass Tomball
  • November 13 – Depot Day – A National Model Railroad Month event
  • November 19 – Light It Up! Christmas Tree Lighting
  • December 4 – Deck the Depot

The City’s long-running family event, Second Saturday at the Depot movie night, will return beginning Saturday, June 12th at the downtown Depot Plaza.

All festivals will be contingent on guidelines and mandates at the time of the event regarding COVID-19.
